try using gpu-z. just go to techpowerup to get it: http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/

btw don't use Caps like that. some will take it as rude but for me with all Caps sometimes its harder to read the whole sentence lol

It seems from your description you've already identified its an ATI, you could go on their website and let it auto identify your card.
