My uncle is looking to build a computer for CATIA 5.0 work, he is looking to spend between 1000-1500. I'm only somewhat familiar with the needs of CATIA, I understand that some of the models can get quite large, so I figured I'd go heavy on RAM. I wasn't sure where the bottlneck in this system would be, but he is willing to start with a cheaper video card and possibly upgrade that at a future date if he likes the system. Does anyone have any experience with building a system that has similar needs? Thanks in advance for any advice! Let me know if you have any questions.
