Dual DVI Monitors - one will not come out of power save mode

Hello,

My Gear - this is a new home setup:

Dell XPS 8300-1225NBK

Dual Dell E2210H Monitors connect via two DVI cables to my:

Video Card: EVGA - GeForce GT 610 2GB DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 Graphics Card

My second monitor goes into Power Save Mode and will not come out. Only by cycling the power to it can I occassionally get it back. This is very frustrating.

Does cutting pin 16 (hot plug detect) on the cables fix this? I'm still scouring the internet for a real solution so any help would be appreciated!

Does the 2nd monitor come on at all during any step from booting, to the desktop?

Yes - I can get it work by cycling power on it several times. Once it's working, everything seems normal until I power down the machine.

I've went in and disabled all power-saving options in Windows 7 etc, but obviously this is not ideal.

Both monitors work flawlessly in single mode - it seems to only occur when I try and run them in dual mode.
