In what way would that Pentium be any better than the 4100? I'm pretty sure the latter would perform better or at least on par with the Pentium.

@OP - The FX-4100 is a bad gaming CPU, and it's a generation behind. The Piledriver line was released a week ago and it's a big improvement - it's actually an i3 contender. I'm assuming you have a $500 budget, so here.

I don't really know what's wrong with the AMD page for the 7770, but it draws very little power. Even less than the 7850 and 7870 so 450w should be fine.

AMD really sucks in gaming. Intel beats it hands down! Go for i3 if your budget permits. The following link has a pentium build, but the prices are old ones that is couple of months old. You may get an i3 if you slightly invest more.
Just swap the pentium with i3 and you are good to frag!

Don't worry, the FX-4300 is right on par with the modern i3 in terms of gaming.

The PSU in the build I posted isn't a 450w unit though, it's 530w.

It technically would work, but I won't personally get it. CM PSUs have a reputation of having high failure and return rates.

Also I decided to overclock, and will probably overclock my gpu, cpu (with new heat sink and fan) and ram sticks.
