Is t worth it to Upgrade th GTX480?

i would like to know if it would be a good idea for me to upagrade my GTX480 to one of the 7 series readon or the 6 series Gtx, plz help,, i was looking at the charts for the best for the money card at the end and was kind of confused the GTX 480 was at the 3 row in the same leguae with the Gtx 570,, should i upgrade to a newer card or am i good with the GTX480 some of the cards i had in mind are these..

None of those cards can out preform a 480 you would need a 670 or 7970

The GTX 480 is a great card.Only the GTX 660 is faster than your card (from your list) and by 5-10%.That's not enough to justify an upgrade in my opinion.
If you really wan't to upgrade you should try getting either a HD 7970 or a GTX 670.

overclocking graphics cards depends on the graphics card cooler so some 7950s can be overclocked up to 1050 ,other 7950s cant be overclocked at all ,non reference coolers usually have more OC headroom ,just make sure the graphics card temperatures don't exceed 80c,7950 have very fast memory bandwidth so overclocking its GPU would be enough boost for its performance.

truthfully, the gtx480 can run just about any game on highest settings without a problem(except maybe witcher 2 without uber, badly optimized game). imo, its not worth it to upgrade to an expensive card right now, best wait til theres a game thatll justify a massive upgrade. by the time that comes, most of the cards you mentioned will be very much cheaper.

First, you should never base your purchase decisions on something that is uncertain, such as overclocking.7950 CANNOT out preform a 670 or 7970 period end of story
