Hello people. I want to make a media centre of my old desktop and all i miss is a gpu with hdmi. I have a 4870 on it but it has no hdmi onboard, So i cant transfer the sound through the converter. If i buy a cheap RADEON HD5450 that has an hdmi the sound will be transferred with no problem right?

Thank you for your time

Correct. You can use a low-end graphics card (with native HDMI) such as the HD5450 to carry audio over the HDMI cable to your HDTV.
