I live in Germany and plan to build a gaming/HTPC in 2-3 weeks, but I don't want to spend a lot on it, around EUR 800 maybe. After reading on other sites, I made a list based on AMD, because I read AMD is best for average gamers on budget builds. So this was my first choice:
CPU AMD FX 6300 Hexa-Core 3.5GHz 141 Video Card Sapphire 11200-07-20G ATI Radeon HD 7850 195 Motherboard ASRock 970 Extreme3 74 RAM Kingston HyperX PC3 1600 MHz 8GB Kit 40 SSD OCZ AGT3-25SAT3-120G Agility 3 120GB 90 Hard Drive WD Blue WD10EALX 1TB 78 Case Silverstone ML03B PC-Gehäuse ATX schwarz 67 Remote Control Perixx PERIBOARD-717DE 35 Power Supply Thermaltake 530W 40 WiFi Card PCI WLAN Karte 300Mbps 13 Card Reader Panel deleyCON 3,5" interner USB 3.0 15 Game pad Xbox 360 Wireless Controller 32
you can see the price in Euro in front of each component, it costs 820 in total. The reason this narrow case, is it wider ones won't fit in my tv bench. My first question is if such builds will fit in this case.
After reading on this site, I decided to buy an intel one, benchmarks show core i5s just rock for gaming. So I want to build it with on-board graphics and order the gpu later (when I have enough money for it). I don't want to overclock, and I wrote everything I need. So no OS, no optical, etc.
I want your help on CPU/MoBo/GPU/RAM combination. I really prefer core i5 3750, not K version obviously and it costs around 190 bucks here. The prices in USD is a good estimation of the prices Germany. I need your suggestions on a decent build, for gaming purposes.
