I'm planning on building a computer for gaming at high-ish settings but i dont know if this will do it.

Asus P8Z77-V PRO Motherboard -

AMD FX-8150 -

MSI GeForce GTX 660Ti Power Edition -

Corsair Vengeance RED 8GB-

Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB SATA 6Gb/s 16MB Cache -

I plan on overclocking the FX-8150 but dont know how to overclock!
Can someone guide me through overclocking for noobs? :)
Many thanks,

You have an Intel motherboard and an AMD processor. You need to change one or the other. And choose a better power supply.

Hahaha yeah. An amd cpu will NEVER work with a intel motherboard.

should i change the motherboard or the cpu or both and what too?

Dont buy the bulldozer, buy the i5 3570k, you wont regret it, and then, you can use that motherboard :)

by the way, about that i5, it is proven that it beats the FX all the way, and it's about the same price
