I am in the market for a gpu upgrade, and so far asus's 2gb 7770 seems the best for me. Sure i only game at 1440x900 but with allot of my games i get over 1gb of vram used with my 545, so that's why I'm leaning towards a 2gb card (I will be upgrading to a 1080p monitor near xmas or spring time). Ive looked at the 7770's performance and it should run all of my games at pretty good settings and when i get a bit more money or need more performance ill be going cfx with it. The only thing holding me back is nvidia's new 660 and possibly the 7850, the 660 performs better in some of the games i play but the 7850 blows it away in others. Any recommendations for other cards are welcome, but i do prefer the 2gb so i dont run into any ram issues.
also here is a quick list of games i play and the settings i can now
bf3 (high/ultra no/little aa/af) (i also break 1gb of vram used here)
wow (pretty high with a few on med) (700mbish)
skyrim (700-1100mb and high settings)
cs go/ other updated source games
arma 2 (3 soon (and i expect 3 to use allot more vram)
crysis 2 (again 3 soon) (dx 11 low/dx9 pretty high settings 1.1-1.2gb used)
sr3 (pretty low/med dx11)
(if bfbc3 comes out then bfbc3, if its bf4 then im never buying another battlfield (bad/non))

Get the 7850. The 2GB 7770 will be slower than a normal one.
