Red Screen shows after a few seconds of gameplay

I recently bought a new PC that i specialised for use for gaming, here are the specs:

CPU: Intel Core i5 3570K

CPU Cooler: Corsair H60 Water Cooler

Operating System: Microsoft® Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Motherboard: Asus P8B75-M LX

RAM: 8GB Corsair 1600mhz Vengeance (2x4GB)

Hard Drive: 2TB S-ATAIII 6.0Gb/s

Optical Drive: 22x DVD±RW DL S-ATA

Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 2GB

Sound card: Onboard 7.1 Audio

Case: Xigmatek Asgard

PSU: 600W Xigmatek

Except now whenever I run certain games (GTA IV, Saints Row: The Third, Deus EX: Human Revolution) the screen turns completely red and the computer force restarts.

I should mention that the error only occurs when gameplay is started so it can navigate menus and even ran the opening cutscene to Deus Ex without any problems, only for the red screen to show up 5 seconds in to gameplay.

On restarting windows I'm told that this is the error:

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7601.
Locale ID: 2057

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: 116
BCP2: FFFFF8800FAE2004
BCP4: 0000000000000004
OS Version: 6_1_7601
Service Pack: 1_0
Product: 768_1

I was wondering if anyone had any idea for any sort of fix for this, or weather i'll need to replace something, thank you.

  1. Im gonna go out on a limb here and say replace the PSU. Read a few reviews on off Xigmatek PSUs and it seems to be hit or miss. Try another high quality PSU in your rig and see if it makes a difference, ill bet it does.
