Update on the brilliant plans of Cleansing Storm-pack; thought I'd
share this particular gem of PC-brilliance. :D

Last session, the PCs met the new Silver King, recently crowned Lord
Albrecht. In my WoD, Albrecht is only just an athro (rank 4) and
doesn't have a whole lot of support yet. He's called a Grand
Concolation to discuss the Garou's birth-problem, hoping to prove
himself wise to the assembled Elders.

To help him, my PCs have asked and received speaking time during the
meeting. They plan on driving home the fact that the Apocalypse has
started and that the time for action has come.

How will they prove that the End is Nigh? Easy. They took a trip to
deserted Roanoke*), recorded the eerie howls and cries that echo
through the mists there, and want to play these sounds - already known
as the Song of the Red Star - to the assembly.

Only players, eh? ;)

Population of Fog-Covered Roanoke, VA Disappears
LYNCHBURG, VIRGINIA—The Lynchburg police station has been inundated by
reports from terrified motorists who report that the nearby town of
Roanoke has vanished from the face of the earth. Travelers on highway
220 report that a strange, low-lying fog blankets the area. Cell
phones will not function in the region, and radios emit an eerie sound
that witnesses describe as the "howls of the damned." Several reports
also included sighting vehicles stopped at various points along the
highway with their lights on, doors open and engines running, but no
sign of their owners.
