Windows 8 Pro install help

Hey guys,

I started the upgrade today on my machine. During the install, it rebooted a few times and went through its percentage ticker. Now it's on the black screen with a blue window and the wheel spinning. It's been on this screen for over 6 hours!! Do I just let it keep going or is it hung up?? My machine has an Asus Mobo with an AMD Phenom II X4 black edition @ 3.4 GHz and 8 gigs of DDR3. Thanks in advance!!

it should pick up from were it left off. don't forget to get your free media center so you can watch movies, without having to buy an app. you have to enter an email so the can send you a key, its toward the bottom of the page, expires tomorrow.

Well, I just rebooted and it restored me back to Win 7...didn't even tell me why lol. Any suggestions? I'd rather not do a clean install since I'm operating on only 1 HDD at this time.
