Nvidia GTX 650 2GB vs ATI 6870 1GB

Hi,

I am trying to run 3 monitors each at 1600 x900 resolution for a car game.
Previously I have been using 6850 and then recently 6870 , in eyefinity mode, and have got good frame rates.

The problem is that the above 2 cards have been discontinued in our country now.

I wanted to inquire if GTX 650 2gb card is better or equal in terms of performance as compared to 6870.
I was able to run 3 monitors, 2 using DVI and one using HDMI to DVI, but am not sure about the performance.

Any suggestions on this?

HD 6870 is much faster than GTX 650. You may want to look into GTX 660, it should not be much more expensive than HD 6870!

Will 660 run 3 monitors? I need to research a bit on that..

Yes, GTX 660 can run up to 4 monitors in total and up to 3 in surround mode.
