I've asked on this forum what the best graphics card for CoD at max settings at 1152 x 864 with at least 45 fps minimum, and I got the answer NVidia Geforce GT 630 2GB. So, what if I wanted to play most/all games at this resolution at max settings with 45 fps minimum? Thanks so much if you answered :)

Solution
Graphics cards are rarely benchmarked at resolutions like that, so this is an educated guess at best: A Radeon HD 7750. MUCH better than the Geforce GT 630, but still uses very little power and is very affordable.

Well your resolution is less than 1280x1024 so look at those benchmarks.

I'd say a GTX 560 or equivalent. That way you can apply 4xAA + ultra settings (i'm thinking BF3) and still get 60 fps.

But strictly answering your question (45 fps min) i'd say a 7770, no less.

You could consider getting 2x4 GB RAM instead of one stick of 8 GB - you're not getting that dual-channel boost in throughput.

As for the graphics card, the 7750 may be enough, but just a few more dollars buy you a 7770 that is noticeably faster. And that will definitely deliver perfect performance at these low resolutions. Even at 1680x1050 and 1920x1080 it can do alright, opening up the opportunity for a monitor upgrade somewhere down the line.
