  1. You live near two microcenters(westbury and yonkers) so that will save you about $30 on the cpu. You could get a hd 7870 and get the corsair 400r but I'd go with the better gpu and almost as good case that I have listed below.
    cpu - i5 3450 $140+tax http://www.microcenter.com/product/388579/Core_i5_3450_31GHz_LGA_1155_Processor
    mobo - asrock h77m $70 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157303
memory - corsair vengeance 8gb $34 w/$6 off promo code but it ends today http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233186
    ssd - samsung 830 128gb $98.50 http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0077CR60Q/?tag=pcpapi-20
    gpu - sapphire hd 7950 $280 after $20 rebate http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202006
case - antec three hundred two $50 after $10 rebate http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129180
    psu - antec neo eco 520w $40 after $15 rebate(it also has a $15 promo code but only for 24hr) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371030
    optical drive - asus $17 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827135204
    monitor - acer 21.5" $127 http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/831472-REG/Acer_ET_WV3HP_B04_V213HL_Bjbd_21_5_Widescreen.html
The total is a little over $900 but with the rebates it'll be under $900 and if you buy the memory and psu today you'll save another $21.
