Is the gtx 660m in the lenovo y580 a real gtx 660m

hello i was wondering if the gtx 660m on the lenovo y580 base model with the 768p screen is a real reference 660m, i heard is was a overclocked gt 650m is that true... i called them at tech support and asked and they said it was a real 660m. do you guys know????
please help

Well, it should be. The only way to know is to go to the store and run GPU-Z.

There's no real difference other than the official model number between a GTX 660M and a GT 650M overclocked to 660M clocks because they use the same die and the same number of stream processors.
