I'm not a huge fan of Nvidia products just AMDs please don't request me getting one. Here's my screenshot of the products on Newegg, all I want to know if this is a good rig to run new popular high end games in the market like Battlefield 3.

I highly sugest retiring the athlon series from this current point. OP, if i were in your position. I would forgo even having a dedicated GPU at the moment. invest in a FM2 Mother board and the latest trinity APU. I will bluntly tell you right now that the APU is on the same performance tier as the gpu above, and the CPU is pretty nifty.

though tbh, at such a barebone budget level, prebuilt will be the best course of action

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/nvoN 387.14 US This is a trinity build, the higher mem speeds will dramatically improve gaming performance because of the way the trinity architecture works. Also what is your screen res?

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/nvk4 This is $457.05 US and later down the road you can upgrade your processor. If you want, drop the 7850 and go with a 7770 if your budget constraint.

price needs to include OS.

well what you can do right now is drop the 7850 for the 7770 and get an os. then when you have enough money upgrade the gpu/cpu
