Is it alright to power a 4890 like this?

I'm trying to scrap together a system, and the only PSU I can find doesn't have PCI-E power. My reference 4890 takes 2 6-pin connectors. I have 2 2x4-pin molex to 6-pin PCI-E power adaptors. Is there any risk involved to wiring it up like this?

Thanks!

Once a PSU blows (particularly a cheap one), all bets are off in terms of voltage regulation. There's nothing to prevent it from sending a surge through into other system components. I definitely wouldn't play Russian roulette with a PSU.

It's a Dynex 350 or an Antec 350. I have both. At full load it's cutting it pretty close on the 12V line, but I think it might be able to handle it. Also: I'm OK blowing out a PSU, but not OK with ruining anything else attempting this.
