EVGA 660 Help

Hey I was thinking about getting a EVGA 660 and I was wondering if EVGA is better than Msi 660. I want to run BF3 on ultra with hopefully 60 fps. Idk if I can achieve it.

  1. That would depend on which model, and the price of the cards you are looking at. Can you link us to the cards on a website ?

    Mactronix :)
  2. Well with a 660 you will not be able to play on ultra and get 30 FPS at 1080P, maybe at lower resolution but not 1080p with that card.

  6. Looks like you ought to hit 60 FPS right on the head. Definitely go for the MSI Twin Frozr which will keep your GPU cooler. With Kepler cards having a cooler GPU will lead to higher and more consistently maintained Turbo Boost clocks.

  7. +1 ^

The EVGA is higher binned but they don't have anywhere near as good a cooler.

Aight Imma get the MSi one. I like the look of the EVGA one slightly better. And should I buy OC version?
