First Build: Motherboard Advice Needed

Last response: in Systems

I am putting together my first PC and am looking for some advice on choosing a motherboard.

Current part list: (already purchased)

Case: Diablotek Abyss
CPU: i5-3540
SDD: Intel 330 180GB
HDD: WD Black 1TB
PSU: OCZ Fatal1ty 550W
RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600
DVD: Have already
OS: Windows 7, have already

Still need to purchase:

GPU: Radeon 7870
Mobo: ???

For the mobo, I'm looking at ASRock, Asus, Gigabyte, or MSI. However, I'm not sure what sort of chipset I need (H77 or B75), features, etc. I do obviously want to ensure that the front USB 3.0 and audio ports on my case will work, but I'm not sure if that's determined by the mobo or something else.

Any motherboard or general advice / feedback appreciated. Thanks!

That's the thing, I don't know what my needs are. :??:

Like I said, I'm new to this whole building computer thing. What sort of things might I need in a motherboard? I'm planning to use this primarily for gaming and watching netflix / hulu with some light web browsing, MS Office, etc.
