Will AMD HD 7750 work on 2 GB ram???

Hi,
I am planning to buy a new graphic card and its AMD radeon HD 7750.
It requires Minimum 4GB of ram.I have only 2GB of ram.I want to know whether this card will work on my pc with 2GB ram as i also cannot increase my ram?
Also can anyone suggest me some good Nvidia graphic cards below rs 5000?

More about will 7750 work
  1. it might work...but u might not be able to use it to its full potential
  2. I'm quite sure it'll work quite well with 2 gigs of RAM. Although 4 gigs is recommended. But I don't see any sorts of issues regarding anything else.
I'd be worried more of the rest of your PC specs and your PSU.
  3. The graphics card comes with its own RAM, so I don't quite understand your comment. Who told you that you need 4GB of system RAM for the card to work?

    http://www.amd.com/us/products/desktop/graphics/7000/7750/Pages/radeon-7750.aspx#3

It's listed as one of the mfg. system requirements. For CCC I'm sure.
  5. Do not even give it a second thought. It will work just fine.

    maybe a gt 630?
    but 7750 maybe better
  7. it will work..

This two that need to be keep eyes on :
    - PCI Express® based PC is required with one X16 lane graphics slot available on the motherboard
    - 400W (or greater) power supply recommended

    The ram......
They just wanna make sure your system not botleneck the card, I think :D

    anyway don't get the 630......
  8. The PSU spec is also not 100% reliable either it depends on the PSU. Basically AMD are over specing anything that might restrict the cards performance so they are covered if the card dosent work as expected.
Kind of a safety net, belt and braces kind of thing.

    Mactronix :)
  9. I ran HD 7950 on 2 gig ram for about a week cause my other ram sticks was shippin ,, And I can tell you, there is nearly no difference between 2 gigaram and 8 gig ram
  10. they afraid if using 2 gig rams the game lagging and people blaming the card even though it was the system that bottleneck....

As mactronix said it a safeguard, it will run fine.. (2 gig is fine for every day uses)
