A friend of mine is upgrading soon, and needs a recommendation for a good case and powersupply. They don't necessarily have to come together, but it would be nice.

The case should be a mid-tower with 3 or 4 5.25 bays and 2 or 3 3.5 bays. Airflow should be good, with mounts for a case fan in front and back. It would also be good if it looked nice. Some that we've seen look terribly ugly.

The power supply should be at least 300watts and AMD approved for an Athlon XP.

He's looking to pay around $70-$80 max.

Thanks for any info.

Toughie here...
Look into a Landmark, InWin, or Antec case, and put in an Antec or Enermax power supply. It might bring you a little over $80.

I got a CaseEdge case from directron.com. It has a ton of great reviews on the net. I think it is one of the best looking cases out there. It is kinda plain but it's a nice design and it doesn't have that "cheap" look that most cases do. You should be able to get one for around 80 bucks as well.

Enlight 7237OAZ, comes with AMD approved 340 watt PS and a front case fan. Looks like standard case, cleans lines, good airflow. Has cut out in the rear for an additional 80MM case fan.

Best of all...it's only $69.00
