I'd love to crossfire two of these cards in my desktop, but i'm not entirely sure my PC could handle it...

Further specs:

780watt 3 pin power supply

8gb ram

i3 2120 @ 3.30ghz

64bit Windows 7 OS

Not really looking to overclock, just enhance general game performance. Want to max out Skyrim xD

I meant in terms of it being able to handle it, or is that never really an issue with CPUs?

H-CUPERTINO2-H61-uA TX (Cupertino2) is my motherboard according to the system model specs and I haven't changed it since purchase

That HP motherboard only has one 16bit slot, also. So there's no way to crossfire or sli anything. You'd have to get a new motherboard and it's definitely not worth it. As BigMack said, better a 7850 or a 660.
