Power Supply voltage warning.
Anyone have any ideas as what to do in this case:
I am running Intels LanDesk monitoring software, it reports “The -12 voltage has exceeded expected limits” (the warning is set to go off at +/- 1.20) My reading fluctuates from -13.19 to –13.20.
Q. What causes this fluctuation? And what is the –12.00 volt function used for? And should I be concerned? What can I do to resolve this issue?

Here is LanDesk’s solutions: (I already have a surge protector)

The -12 voltage has exceeded expected limits.
Possible solutions

• Save your current work and then turn the computer off.
• Install a surge protector or a UPS with surge protection.
• If the problem continues, call a support representative.

Thanks for any help!

You might want to consider a new, more powerful PSU. Those voltage readings are a little high.

By the way, that software can be kinda buggy, and cause some intermittant problems with restarting/shutting down the computer. Check your voltage readings in the BIOS, if possible.

I think you should pick the 3rd option:
Call a support representative.
Meaning-get a knowledgeable one to help you.
