hey im looking at getting another gtx580 to sli as a cheap upgrade but since they stoped making them ive only been able to find the ENGTX580 DCII/2DIS/1536MD5 wwhile mmy current one is a ENGTX5802Di/1536MD5. both cards are from asus and have the same memmm and such so will they work in sli ? thanks

They will work in SLI, but the factory overclocked card will run at the speed of the lower clocked card. The DirectCU cooler is a triple slot cooler, so there may not be a lot of room for both of them on your motherboard. Be sure to check for adequate space first.

There is some logic as to which one you place in the top slot vs. the lower slot, but I'm not really sure what it is. I'm guessing you want the DirectCU on top since it will keep the GPU cooler (normally the top card is the hotter of the two). I'm assuming the other card is a reference cooler, so with it on bottom it will exhaust its heat out the back of the case and not affect the top card as much.
