Hi, first off im a noob as this is my first build so please no yelling :).

Im building a new system and i am planning on doing GTX 660 Ti 2-way SLI maybe a year later, and i have a hard time figuring out what kind of PSU do I need.

So assume I am doing:

i5-3570k @ 4.4 GHz
MSI OC GeForce 660Ti 2-way SLI. 1920X1080
Kingston 16GB (2X8GB) DDR3 1600

MSI Z77A-G45 LGA 1155 Intel Z77
or
ASRock Z77 Extreme4 LGA 1155 Intel Z77

I had some people suggesting 700W is a overkill, but I think I didnt mention about the 2-way SLI build. Anyway Please comment.

Thanks a million

That won't be as powerful. But it still might be a better idea as it will leave more room in the future, and if you need more than a 7970 I have some questions for you.

Here is Guru3Ds power supply recommendation:

GeForce GTX 660 Ti - On your average system the card requires you to have a 450~500 Watt power supply unit.
GeForce GTX 660 Ti SLI - On your average system the cards require you to have a 700 Watt power supply unit as minimum.

If you are going to overclock GPU or processor, then we do recommend you purchase something with some more stamina. As for power supply i recommend http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182073
