I cannot install or uninstall any drivers for my video card, I got rid of them using driver sweeper, and now I cannot reinstall my old drivers, or any version of drivers for my card, I went to device manager and in the properties it said" Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)"

If you know the name(s) of the driver files, make a backup of your registry file, use Regedit or a similar program, search for all lines referencing the files, and delete those references. Then try again.

Another option with a driver that doesn't seem to be working after an upgrade--reset the CMOS, then go into the BIOS and do your setup again. It's faster than reinstalling Windows. This worked with my husband's computer. We'd tried everything, both hardware and software-related.
