Help I need a browser that works with Windows 8

Hi

help please
we bought a new computer with windows 8
I was using Firefox with our old computer
I was told Firefox is in the test stage with windows 8

I don't like internet explorer there has to be some thing that is secure and works with windows 8

Please point me in the right direction

As far as desktop browsers go, anything that worked in Windows 7 works in Windows 8. What's in the "test stage" is the Windows 8 app-style versions of the browsers but those that run in the desktop mode work just fine.

So if I hear you correctly working on the desk top is good but the touch screen they are still working out the bugs ?

The new app style programs work differently than traditional desktop programs, yes. Almost all desktop programs that worked in Windows 7 should work in the desktop mode in Windows 8. For example I'm writing this in desktop Firefox on a Windows 8 PC.

The firefox home page has two tabs, Mobile and Desktop - you need to use the latter
