[Exalted] Weapon suggestion

So, suppose one of your players gets ahold of a small amount of
Orichalcum and wants to use it to forge a "normal" slashing sword.
That is, not a huge FF-style thing, just a golden sword. Would you
give it to him? If so, with what capabilities?

I'd suggest making it a Perfect Weapon, with no Hearthstone settings,
no attunement (no need, since it shouldn't weigh that much), and no
magical powers. It would basically be very durable, never need
sharpening, and wouldn't be destroyed by channeling Melee Charms that
normally destroy mundane weapons afterwards.

Any thoughts?

GCG had comments on this.

To make a normal-sized artifact weapon from the 5MM, start as a Perfect
weapon. Then add the Orichalcum weapon bonus, provided you can
harmonize with it.

That's pretty much it. Its Artifact rating is equal to whatever
Artifact rating it would have were it full-sized:

Chopping Sword -> Reaver Daiklave -> ••
Great Sword -> Grand Daiklave -> •••
Short Sword -> Short Daiklave -> ••
Slashing Sword -> Reaper Daiklave -> ••
Straight Sword -> Daiklave -> ••

Think of them as being one dot less each, and then add one dot for the
convenience of an artifact weapon that you can put into a regular-sized
weapon sheath instead of bundled on your back with a big "I'M A
SUPERNATURALLY CAPABLE BEING! POSSIBLY AN ANATHEMA!" sign painted on 'em.

Oops. "Then add the Orichalcum weapon bonus" should read "Then add the
appropriate 5MM weapon bonus."

Thanks! Guess I accidently slipped out of the AoS' "Empower the
characters to the MAX!" mode and back into the WoDs' "Hobble the
characters as much as possible!" mode...

I'm pretty sure I recall the Errata stating that 5MM weapons DID have
to be giant versions of normal weapons...ah well. Even smaller, a
Moonsilver or Starmetal weapon will be easier to pull off than an
Orichalcum or Soulsteel one...
