RAID 10 card advice for a custom build.

I've built a PC with half decent specs which are due to increase but dont want to pay the prices asked for a SSD with so little memory...

I have done some light googleing and think i have found the answer but am after abit of advie.

I want 4 HDDs which run as 2 sets of 2. Whereby, the 2 sets are mirrored and each pair are connted for speed.

To say again, i have the standard RAID setup with 2 drives working as one for increased speed but then also have the 2 drives mirrored for backup...

I have tryed to look for RAID 10 cards but havent had alot of joy. Could someone please tell me if RAID 10 is what i want and what the card to get for a home system would be..

RAID 10 is what you want... but wow, what are you using this computer for that requires such high disk IO?

You stated it is for a home computer.. stripe your drives and your hard drive will not be your bottleneck.
