Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 955 BLACK EDITION
Video card: ASUS RADEON HD6950 1GB
His power suply unit is 650w
He says that he has this motherboard: ASUS AM3 AMD 870 DDR3 RAID SATA6 ATX
And he wants to get a new processor and video card. He would prefer a i5 ivy bridge processor, a GTX 670 card and he doesn't know about the mother board, should he change it

If he plans to overclock then the 3570k . If he gets this he will need a Z77 motherboard. If he doesn't plan to over clock then get a 3470. In this care you won't need a Z77 board
