hi all,
i was wondering if there is any software that can act as a alarm clock or reminder ?
my requirements:-
1)should allow to make reminders so that i can have an alarm at any date & time in future (a month should be enough though , but i would like one with years to make reminders for game or movie releases)
2)Possibly be free. I can buy one , but would prefer free :p
3)Each alarm have a separate description that i can set for that alarm.
4)It would be nice if it is a desktop widget of windows 7 :)
5)Could keep a track of computer usage and ideal times etc. (last on the list , least priority)

Have you tried Google Calender?
You can setup reminders/events and it can be linked to various applications including smart phone ones.

Windows 7 has a built in task scheduler.

You can set it up to wake your computer up - play a certain MP3 or movie, all kinds of stuff. I used to use task scheduler to wake me up in the morning by playing an MP3 :D

I tried many clock, alarm, reminder and scheduler programs and settled on System Scheduler (free version) from http://www.splinterware.com/products/wincron.htm. It is simple, streamlined and efficient without any unnecessary
crap or bloatware.
