Various problems

Hello, I recently downloaded a game, Got into it once & then everything went wrong.
Nvidia display settings are not available.- You are not currently using a display attached to an nvidia GPU.-Could not initialize Direct draw.- Display driver stopped and has recovered. These messages came over attempts to get into 4 different progs. Can't find any reference to graphics card any where

Just uninstall the game.

Yes, Well I don't mind doing that if it is magically going to fix 3 other 3 prog's that currently don't work. Plus the fact it took me 4 days to get it working. If I do this can I keep the download file? and just re-install later if it isn't the problem?

not a 16bit game is it ? if so the machine is too new to run it. try dos box ......... maybe ???

No, this is a remake of JA2 that was released earlier this year. You can get it on Steam.

That processor has a built in GPU, with a corresponding display output on the motherboard. Have you checked that your monitor is plugged into the Nvidia card?

Ehhh... No it doesn't. It's an FX series CPU, not an APU. The AMD A-series have onboard graphics, the FX chips most certainly do not. The motherboard may have onboard graphics though.
