Your question

3x 120Hz Monitors on 2x 680

September 19, 2012 9:52:35 AM

Evening folks,

I have a couple questions for you.

I currently have a single Samsung s23a700d running on a 680 SLI set-up and it's gorgeous. I'm blown away by games at 120Hz and the 680s have been great.

I'm strongly considering purchasing 2 more 700d's for 2D surround and am wondering if my 680s will be able to handle driving all three. I know they'll struggle in more modern games with AA turned up which brings me to my next question.

Should I favor one type of AA over another when given the chance? I'm roughly familiar with the different kinds but I'm not sure which I should favor since the days of "just turn up everything" will be over when I add the other two monitors. Is FXAA sufficient at any point?

Finally, has anyone ever seen a guide on how to remove the bezels on a 700d? Not having them on my desk it's hard to say how much the bezels will bother me but I'm curious to see if anyone's tried it. Might be a good weekend project down the road.

Thanks for your time
