So I'm gonna build a budget gaming pc and I need help picking which one is better for me.
My screen resolution is 1440x900 and my budget is £575.

Either one to be honest at that resolution you should be fine. Personally I like the ivy 3570k so I would go with that build. My current res is 1600x900 And with the specs in my sig I max everything out.
 
At your resolution, the second build would be pretty solid. Specially since you have the i5 3570K. However in terms of gaming, you'd want a better GPU and if you ever upgrade resolution, you'd want the 1st build.

In your case, a better GPU would be more important. And the AMD FX-6300 is an amazing budget chip that performs better than the i3 3220 and can still overclock. Plus you'll still get that 7870 goodness but save money.
