xD,

Yes a UK graphics card is compatible with any other Country PCI-Express motherboards...

Also yes the 6850 can be Crossfired with a 6870 but be aware that the 6870 will be running with the performance of a 6850.

Also be aware, using 2 Gpus requires a good ammout of power so make sure you have a good Power Supply Unit or you will run into problems.

so it wouldnt make a difference between getting a xfx 6850 or a 6870 to crossfire with my original 6850 because it will just run as fast as my original

Would be a waste of money to get a 6870. Not sure if it would even work and if it did, it would only be as powerful as the 6850. Cant make a lesser vid card more powerful by crossfiring it with a more powerful vid card. Doesnt work that way. And would be a waste of money.

yes it would make no difference, the better would be buying the exact same model that you already have for crossfiring.

Also be aware that 6850 and 6870 crossfire is possible but that is very rare. Crossfire/sli normally work only on cards from the same model. but those cards are basically the same with better memory and clocks that is why this is possible.

yeah ive been looking at reviews and it showed 6850 were capable to be crossfired with 6870, im still new to comuter building and crossfire, maybe its a unessecary luxury, I have the 6850 that maxes out everything that I play so Im just going to stick with it an not add an additional 6870, My thought was just that it might improve the quality of the game, but currently everything is fine I guess I just needed a second opinion on this before I bought it, thank you
