I have an OC gtx 670 FTW and when I play borderlands 2 on low physx I get 60 fps on high everything with 55-65% gpu usage. When I turn the physx on high I have the same usage but get all the way down to 20fps in fight seens and about 50 when moving. so if im not using part of my gpu, why dosent it work harder to get 60fps?

I have a 3930k and 16GB of ram so im not bottlenecking

Do you have PhysX set to "Auto" in the Nvidia Control Panel? Make sure that you do. Sounds like you have your CPU doing the PhysX. Also make sure you're running the latest 306.23 drivers.

Made sure it was set to my gfx card in control panel. I am running the latest drivers, still having the same issue.

And you did install the latest PhysX drivers that came with the graphics driver?

I'm also seeing some complaints about the performance in various forums. Maybe it's just something that they need to patch in the game.
