More about radeon 6670
  1. see if your psu is on that list http://support.amd.com/us/certified/power-supplies/Pages/listing.aspx also give the name and model of that psu
  2. A 420W with only 10A on the 12V ???

    You're sure it's that low and that it only has 1 12V rail ?
  3. how to check if i have single or dual 12v rail?
  4. with the name and model of your psu so you find the info on the net or it should be on a sticker on the psu
  5. brand: Blueberry
    compatibility: ATX
    power: 420 W
    fans: 80 x 80 x 25 mm (2,500 RPM)
    DC out: +5V20A, +3.3V/14A, +12V/10A, -5V/0.5A, -12V/0.8A, +5VSB/2A
    connector: 1 x 24-pin ATX, 1 x 4-pin CPU, 4 x Molex, 1 x Floppy, 1 x Serial ATA
  6. what is the model number start with psh or psb
  7. "Blueberry," hmmm, never heard of it. That claimed wattage, "420W," also smacks of Apevia, a known purveyor of PSU-shaped objects. Like the Apevia, it also has the -5V rail, which was obsolete years ago. Sorry to say, but it appears to be a piece of Chinese junk not suited to power a computer. Oh, it might be fine for internet surfing or even movie watching, but load that system down with a few hours of gaming and watch the sparks fly. A quality 350W-400W PSU would easily handle your system. On a budget, I'd suggest anything built by Seasonic (including some Antec, Corsair, and XFX), Antec Earthwatts, or newer FSP, such as the Antec VP-450.
  8. Wow, thats one of the worst psu's i have ever seen. :ouch: ( didn't see that much, but still ) It's very old i guess seeing how the amps are distributed over the rails.

    I wouldn't wanna have that in my system, specially not with a dedicated gpu.

    Thats really a bad company for selling this.
  9. I got 400w dual rail PSU and it has 10a on +12v and i'm running 6670 on it.. never had problems..

    10 x 12 = 120watts..

    Should be enough for a 6670.

    If you don't have any problems, then what's the problem?
  11. Regor, what's your other +12V rail? You say you've got two, but the OP just has the one.

    s_g_m, he's asking if he might have a problem, and the definitive answer is "Yes!"
  12. ^+!, just was going to ask that.
  13. @jtt283 both rails are 10a

    If IMNICEE has only a single rail.. then yeah

    _______________

    If he only has a single rail then it's only 266 watts...

    +5v x 20 = 100
    +3.3v x 14 = 46.2
    +12v x 10 = 120
    Total = 266.2

    If we add another 120 then = 386 watts.
  14. Euh, jah ;

  15. @IMNICEE Check this out.. i think you have one like this..

    Blueberry 420w psu

    yeahh.. it's a single rail..

    I have similar PSU (China made) and it's rated at 500w but it can only draw 200+ watts.. overrated

    Better replace as soon as possible with a branded/quality one.

    My PSU is also crap korean made.. but better than the chinese crap, but soon i will replace it when the time i will have enough budget.. I've been using it for 6 months now..
    ____

    I don't know why those PC store gave you a crappy PSU..

    Maybe to destroy/burn your PC parts and soon you will comeback on that store and buy new parts?? and after that, they will give you another crappy psu after buying new parts.. money money yeah yeah..

    (Sorry for my english, but i have a point)
  16. i going to buy a new psu a soon as possible .
    @Regor245 thats my psu ...
    i dont know why they gave me this crappy psu.
    i have 2 years warranty for every part in my pc.
    ty guys for the answers
  17. Oh, then you need antec earthwatts 600
    or larger switching supply.
    It pays for itself by saving electricity.
  18. Huh, a Antec 600W unit for a HD6670 ??? :o

    A good 400/350W can power that easily.

    Something like this ; http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139026 or even this ; http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371033
  19. Guys i have a big problem now , my pc goes to stand by mode when playing games.
    its not rebooting only change to standby .
    is this because of my PSU or a its a gpu problem?
