That's a really old system you got there!

The best you can get for these specifications -

GTX 550Ti - 1GB DDR5
Radeon HD 6670

Wait, what's your power supply? Depending on what you have the GTX 550 ti might not run on it.

The 550Ti or the 6670? Huh?

It all really depends on your power supply.

New system time. That old Core 2 will bottleneck any gamer's card like the 7870.

I wouldn't spend any more money on that computer to be completely honest with you. The processor is quite old.

Your system is too old and a £600 system would utterly smash it. The X1950 is the equivalent of an Xbox360 GPU . . . which is already 6yrs old.

If you want an upgrade, get a 6670 GDDR5. Its really the most I would put into your comptuer unless you plan to use the graphics card again in your new build.
