GTX 650Ti 9/10/12 Here we go again.

So word is that the card many had been expecting sooner, is finally going to be with us on the 9th of October.

Trouble is no one can seem to agree what form it will take. there seems to be agreement that it will be a GK106 GPU.
After that its all up for grabs. Anything from 576 - 960 cores has been rumoured.

768 Cores with a 192 bit bus and 1GB of GDDR 5 would be my guess.

768 Cores with a 256 Bit bus and 2GB of GDDR 5 is what I would like.

Talk about building to a segment, performance will be interesting. does leave the door open for a 660 SE though.

That kind of leaves the HD 7850 as the only sensible option in and around the price point here in the UK

There are a couple of websites which have confirmed the specs of the 650ti this morning/last night. Bummer on the 128 bitrate. My guess is the 768 core rumored card will be the 660 SE.

Really all it boils down to now is price/perf.
I'm thinking ball park 6850 performance from the 650Ti and a price tag around £110 - £120 (im in the uk).
That would put it out performing the 7770 base model but being dearer.

Which would leave a nice hole for a 660 SE to perform around the 6950/7850 area for around £140- £150.
