Intel motherboard for i3

I HAVE INTEL I3-540 3.07GHZ,TRANSCEND DDR3 4GB RAM,INTEL DH55TC MOTHERBOARD.I HAVE GOT FREE INTERNET ANTIVIRUS SOFTWARE FOR 45 DAYS WITH MY PROCESSOR.I HAVE INSTALLED WINDOWS 7 ULTIMATE OPERATING SYSTEM.I HAVE LG DVD RW.BUT I AM FED UP OF THE SLOW SPEED DURING THE COPYING OF THE FILES FROM CD/DVD TO THE COMPUTER.I HAVE DELETED TEMPORARY FILES AND PREFETCHES IN WINDOWS.STILL I AM GETTING SLOW SPEED DURING COPYING.CAN U PLEASE HELP HOW TO GET A RESOLUTION FOR THIS PROBLEM?

Check the Read Speed for the device - Set to MAX ?
