I just have a couple of questions about these 4 cards. First can the standard OC 7970 overclock as high as the others, including the toxic?

Does the Vapor-X cooling make a difference when OCing?

Can the Toxic OC higher than the other 7970's I listed?

Is the extra VRAM of the GHz 6GB and Toxic useless even when gaming in 3D but on a single monitor?

It's your processor that makes all the difference.
Check your motherboard manufacturer website for the list of video cards that are compatible w/ your motherboard.
If you don't have at least quad core, then start over.

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit OEM
MoBo: MSI Big Bang Z77 MPower LGA 1155
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LP Black 8GB (2 x 4GB) 1600
CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz Quad-Core
HSF: Noctua NH-D14
SSD: SAMSUNG 830 Series 128GB
HDD: SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 1TB 7200RPM
PSU: Corsair Professional Series Gold AX750
ODD: ASUS DVD Burner OEM

These are the rest of the components, I do have a quad core and will be OCing it. So no need to start over. =p

I guess it's really between the6GB GHz 7970, the 7970 Toxic and a 4GB 680 wich is more of the middle ground between the 3.
