Hey

My mate from work is offering to give me some parts on discount as his dad owns a computer trading company and they're tryin g to sell off particular stock. He has offered me:

- 300W ATX PSU
- GIGABYTE GA-B75M-D3V
- Intel Core i5 3450
- 8GB DDR3 RAM
- 500GB WDC Blue Hard Drive
- LiteOn Optical Drive
- Some Micro ATX stock case his company has
- Windows 7 OEM 64bit
- NVIDEA GeForce 9500gt

He said he will build it for me too, all for £419. I was just wondering whether it is worth it and if the parts are decent. I saw the motherboard is business, and I'm using it for personal and a tad of gaming, so will it work?

Ryan.

Ya. that'll work fine as a productivity computer with a small bit of gaming. (seems a bit expensive though... especially with that really old gpu...) and you probaby will be able to play games at like 720p at decent settings with that set-up.

come on, a 9500gt? I would take the rest and leave out the gpu, then spend a little more on something like a 6850 which will take the total to around 500 quid

I was going to buy a NVIDEA GeForce GT 610 1GB but I've heard that the 9500gt 1GB is better. Which would you recommend?
