Just a guess, but if your asking can you mix DDR2 and DDR3 on one system, the answer is NO.

Also, DDR2 and DDR3 are not interchangeable.

On those rare motherboards that can use DDR2 and DDR3, you can only use one type at a time.

If you are asking about having a motherboard with DDR2 memory and a video card with DDR3 memory, there is no problem with this. The memory used by the motherboard and the video are separate and distinct from one another.

Please clarify.
