My Build, go for a cheaper mobo and get a better graphics card?

Hi there, I built my first PC a few years back when the i7 range first came out and I'm looking to build a new PC and the end of the year I have seen Bundle on a website and it was a reasonable price, I have since found the same bundle for around £200 cheaper. I'm just wanting to know, do I need a motherboard like that? Or should I choose a different motherboard and go for a better graphics card? I do gaming, looking to play the new Hitman,DayZ, do a lot of programming/web design and spend most of my days on the PC as I use it for work and for fun.

The Build
- CPU: Intel Core i7 3770K 3.40GHz @ 4.40GHz Ivybridge CPU
- Motherboard: Asus Z77 Sabertooth Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard
- RAM: Geil Black Dragon 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C11 1600MHz Dual Channel

The total price of this build is 580,45 € or £464 I'm willing to spend up to £700 - £800(Don't want to go overkill) on this including graphics card as I already have a case, monitor enough harddrives for a server room and a 1KW PSU from my old PC.

Do you guys recommend me going for a cheaper mother board and if so what graphics card would you recommend for my price range. Sorry If I have left anything out do not hesitate to ask for further information needed, would love the help guys.

More about build cheaper mobo graphics card
  1. get an i5 3570k, 8gb ram, and an msi or sabertooth motherboard
  2. Sabertooth is overkill; get a Z77 Extreme4 or GA-Z77X-D3H. They perform almost the same and cost far less.

    Second the 8GB + 3570K. Get CL9 RAM though; make sure it's 1.5V.

A graphics card is the most important part of a gaming pc. Get the best you can (but ignore GTX680; it's overpriced and gets outperformed by a 7970GHz).

+1 ram and cpu and as for gpu depends on the game but yeah max your budget on gpu

IMO the -V PRO is still overpriced, and you're paying entirely for the brand. Like the RAM though.

+1 this is a good board as well. ;)
  6. Z77 extreme4 or Extreme6 and a 3570K and 7870. Or 660 TI... which ever
  7. Ok so if I went for the Intel Core i5-3570K Box, LGA1155 and the ASRock Z77 Extreme4, Sockel 1155, ATX which Ram and Graphics card would you recommend for my budget?
