ATI X800 dual display

For my ATI X800 card, I currently have one monitor connected to it, and it';s output to TV as well. I can clone desktop to TV, such that I can view my desktop on TV. Is it possible to configure it such that TV serves as a second monitor, i.e. displaying certain things on the monitor and others on TV?

I don't recall any reason why you could not use "Extended Mode" rather than clone mode.
