Hi! I was going through my add/remove programs and found
these random files and do not know how they got there.
Could you help me get rid of these. I have tried other
support systems and have had no results. They are as
follows:
Windows XP Hotfix-KB817611
KB823182
KB825119
KB826939
KB826942
KB826959
KB828028
KB828035
I want to know what this is to get this off my computer
programs. It states I can only go through a support center
and it does not give me the option of removing them?

Hello
Them are Windows Updates and are suppose to be there.
Do not remove them or you will have to go to the update site and download
them again.

Hope this helps

They got there because you (quite properly) have downloaded and
installed Microsoft's security patches.

Some cannot be removed; unless you are having VERY specific problems
with them, none of them *should* be removed. They are fixes to
security bugs! Would you rather be running a version of Windows that
has known and fixable security holes?
