Hi guys! I'm new here. This site helped me many times so i thought to ask you guys for my problem.
Heavy games like COD:MW2,3/Black Ops and GTA4 does not run smoothly on my p.c. I do not know
the problem but may be it's because of graphics card Nvidia Gforce GT 220. Is this a good card? With
3Gb ram? If not than what are other guesses about this problem?

Thats a pretty bad card. Upgrading that is definately needed if you want to play games.

Also you should say what your cpu is.

Pentium 4 is really old and very weak for today's standards. It looks like your system if too old for newer games like the ones you listed.

You either gotta get a newer computer or live with the laggy game play.

If it's pentium 4, you'll need to spend at least $400 to make games playable.

Can you give me a brief description how to aware if a basterd try to sell p4 an says it is core2dou.. Man i'm really shocked if it is a p4 thing....

Your system is out of date. That is the problem unfortunately.

Well, I'm assuming you have Windows, so I would go into the system settings in the Control Panel and find out what CPU you have. If its a Core2Duo, you might be in luck.

If its a P4, you're kinda screwed.

Download and install CPU-z:

http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html

It will show you what your exact CPU and motherboard model is. Post those please.

1 core? Yes, that's a Pentium 4. Your motherboard may support newer processors though. Best you can do without building an entirely new system would be to upgrade CPU and GPU, and get a bit more RAM.

Without getting like a new motherboard....and everything else, you might be able to find a cheap Core2Duo or Quad (not likely for the quad) and pair it with a nice new graphics card depending on your power supply.
