I have an old laptop (Dell Inspiron 7500), which is in quite bad condition, but the laptop's LCD panel is still working quite well, and I'd like to put it to some use. So I'm wondering: is there any way to connect a laptop LCD panel to a desktop machine, for use as a second monitor? If someone has any pointers or previous experience, I'd appreciate it! (and I'm not afraid of using a soldering iron...)
