Upgrading my current PC

Gigabyte X58A-UD3R
Kingston DDR3 HyperX 1600MHz (3x2GB)
Seagate Barracuda 7200 1TB
Powercolor Radeon HD 6950
Fractal Design Define R3 Black Pearl
Chieftec Nitro Series BPS-650C 650W

Been thinking about getting a Sapphire Radeon HD 7970 GHz 3GB GDDR5, 2 Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600MHz 8GB CL10 and maybe some kind of SSD.

I really don't have a budget, but i am willing to pay for quality.

What do you think? Is there else I should upgrade?

Don't buy a 2x4 gb ram kit; you'll have open slots; use a 3 stick kit for your 58x board. With open slots, your board won't run in tripple channel mode. Sell your old card before ordering to see how much you can get and apply the $$ for the new one. It's worth about $100 on craigslist used.
